Shomerim Young Adult Fellowship

The Shomerim Young Adults Fellowship (YAF) caters to the spiritual needs of young adults aged 25 to 40. As many of us transit from students to working adults, enter the workforce, form relationships, start families, and raise young children, Shomerim YAF seeks to provide mutual support and help one another grow in Christ, thus aligning with the spirit behind the word "Shomerim," which means "watchmen" in the Hebrew language.

We meet on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month, gathering in members' homes for the study of God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship. This year, we are studying the Book of Philippians, together with two mini-series centered on the theme of being “Found in Christ” (Philippians 3:9).

Our regular meeting begins with a time of sharing and prayer for one another, followed by the preaching of God’s Word. We would also have dinner together after the meeting.

Through the fellowship group, we desire that members would:
1. Assemble together and provoke each other unto love and good works (Hebrews 10:24-25)
2. Grow in spiritual maturity and build each other up (Proverbs 27:17; 2 Peter 3:18; Jude 20)
3. Watch for the souls of men (Ezekiel 33:7)
